News release Lifeforce 2000 Limited - advertisement prohibitedThe Securities Commission, acting under the authority of section 44A of the Securities Act 1978, has made an order prohibiting the distribution of certain advertisements of Lifeforce 2000 Limited. The Commission was of the opinion that the advertisements contained or referred to an offer of securities to the public for subscription and did not comply with section 33 of the Securities Act 1978. This requires such an offer to be made in, or accompanied by, a registered prospectus or in an "authorised advertisement". The advertisements relate to a scheme where subscribers pay an amount for an option to purchase a residential property in the future and to receive returns from overseas investments made by Lifeforce 2000 Limited. The registered office of Lifeforce 2000 Limited is in Auckland. The shareholders of the company are William John Gausden and Gary James Meynell. Mr Gausden is also Managing Director of the company. Members of the general public should exercise care before paying or committing money to anyone acting on behalf of Lifeforce 2000 Limited in respect of these advertisements. Norman F.
