Annual Report released
We expect our 1997 Annual Report to be tabled in Parliament this Wednesday afternoon. The Chairman of the Commission would be pleased to meet with representatives of the media to mark this event, also to comment on the legislation that is coming into force on 1 October 1997 and which makes important changes to New Zealand securities law. It is proposed to hold the media conference at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, at the Commission. Copies of the Annual Report may be collected from the Commission from 12:00 noon that day, under embargo until 3 pm.
